It has been two weeks since the shooting in downtown Dallas. Restaurants and businesses in the area have shown their support by treating officers to free drinks and drinks, as well as openly voicing their appreciation for the Dallas Police Department through banners, ribbons, and social media posts. Tonight, Chef Tony Street of Y.O. Steakhouse is joining a group of local chefs to host The Giving Table at The Highland Dallas as another display of support and appreciation.
The event is a fundraiser for the Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas, a charity that assists the families of fallen first responders. The Giving Table will take place from 6-10 pm at Trinity Groves. Tickets are $50 per person. If you wish to pay for yourself and a police officer, you may do so for $100.
