Ready…Set..Restaurant Week at Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse in Dallas!
It’s that time of year again! Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse will be participating in a favorite local event, the 21st Annual DFW Restaurant Week for another consecutive year. From August 13 through Sept. 3, more than 150 top restaurants in Dallas and Fort Worth will offer a special 3-course prix-fixe menu. And what would DFW Restaurant Week be without one of the best steakhouses in Dallas on the list?
With 150 participating restaurants, we know you’ve got a lot of options. However, we’ve got a few good (and all edible) reasons why we should be on the top of your list.
What is DFW Restaurant Week?
During DFW Restaurant Week, restaurant goers can dine at participating 5-star restaurants in Dallas and Fort Worth for a fraction of the cost. Jim White, award-winning writer, journalist, co-founder of Savor Dallas and founder of DFW Restaurant Week, created the event to give everyone in the metroplex an opportunity to enjoy a 5-star dining experience. The event attracts tens of thousands of people all over DFW for 3-course dinners priced from $39-$49 and $20 at lunch. However, the best part of DFW Restaurant week is that it benefits a great cause. This year, a portion of every meal price will be donated to North Texas Food Bank in Dallas and Lena Pope in Fort Worth.
What’s on the Menu at Our Dallas Steakhouse?
Chef Tony Street has always pulled out all the stops for DFW Restaurant Week, and this year is no exception. Featuring customer favorites like Deep Ellum Pimento Cheese Fritters and Chicken Fried Lobster, to special items like Nashville Hot Fried Oysters and the Texas Hill Country Plate, our DFW Restaurant Week menu is sure to please.
Guests can start their meal off with our creamy Corn Bisque, Y.O. House Salad, or Deep Ellum Pimento Cheese Fritters. For our guests wanting a more adventurous, authentically Texas Hill Country experience, start the night off with Rattlesnake Chili Pie or Antelope Carpaccio. The main course features a variety of options including a Petite Filet with roasted bone marrow butter, Double Cut Pork Chop brined, rubbed and slow roasted and served atop Tabasco cheesy grits and collard greens, and Zucchini Noodles, which are vegan, gluten-free, and carb conscious. Of course, you’ll want to end dinner off with a bang – and all 3 desserts on the menu do just that. Choose from our Flourless Chocolate Cake spiked with Chambord and served with Raspberry Coulis, Prickly Pear Sorbet, and Fresh Berries, or Buttermilk Lemon Pie.
